This incredible photograph of a Huillin, a jewel of nature, is unfortunately in danger of extinction and therefore, has become very difficult to see. Despite this discouraging panorama, in recent years I have been fortunate to be able to capture its beauty on numerous occasions during my trips sailing through the picturesque rivers of the vibrant Chiloé Island. Particularly, this photograph, which shows the Otter in its habitat, represents a considerably special moment.
Taken in 2022, on the Chepu River, the largest river and undoubtedly one of the most impressive on this beautiful and precious Island. A tribute to the otter, a call for its conservation and an invitation to marvel at the majesty of nature and its biodiversity.
