Búhho is a self-taught illustrator, muralist, designer and graphic artist. His work is influenced by hardcore punk graphic art, graffiti, and Latin American political/social poster art.

In his works he develops the “doodle”, a style of illustration that is characterized by the agglomeration of figures, the use of a hard edge and the extensive use of colors. The themes he touches on in his illustrations are music, political and protest themes, landscapes, city life, among others.

He has participated in the collective exhibitions “Hello, How are you?” (Casa Pausa, 2016); “Non Ikabo: What we are” (Casa de la Cultura de San Isidro, 2016) and “LimaGif v.1.0” (Galería Abierta Miraflores, 2017). In addition, he has been published in magazines and fanzines, and has participated in numerous art festivals, including the "Sudaca Tropical Festival" (Chile, 2018), "Guayaquil Fanzine Fest" (Ecuador, 2019), "Carboncito Festival" (2017/2018), "Selvámonos" (2018/2019), "Punkpress Cuarentena Fest" (2020), "Bienal de Arte Urbano Haciendo Calle" (Ecuador, 2020) and Madrid Gráfica (Spain, 2020).
