The first map in the “Metropolitana” series shows the subdivision of the capital of Chile by the names of its communes. We set out to make a poster where it was easy to see the location of the communes at a glance, since in most maps it is more common to be able to appreciate the geographic dimension. We believe that the result offers a new look at the city, where the spatial relationships between the communes are more evident, which allows for a simpler perception of the distribution of Santiago.
