“Weddell Seal”: On my first expedition to Antarctica I went out into the field a few meters from the refuge. In that place we were surrounded by glaciers and colonies of Gentoo penguins. In the distance, resting at the foot of a large glacier was   This seal peacefully on the ice that supported its large size.

It was something extraordinary to see such an imposing landscape and the rest of a carefree animal in the immensity of this place.
